TMS2021: Call for Papers

Written by Tanya Quintieri

24. November 2020

We are planning the second Translation Mastermind Summit, which will take place from February 1-4, 2021 and want to offer our members and other interested parties the best online conference ever.

If you have something to share with the community of translators and interpreters and are willing to do so from the comfort of your home (office), then please do submit your paper.

The Translation Mastermind Summit will not offer any academic topics. The goal is to help participants grow as business owners. So we are looking for topics such as:

  • marketing to agencies and direct clients
  • project management
  • negotiating rates and deadlines
  • best practices in client acquisition
  • branding and reputation management
  • time management
  • specializing or finding a niche
  • self-care and boundaries

Perhaps you can share something we haven’t thought of. If you think that your topic is relevant, send it over by filling in the form linked below.

Further information

  • We will compensate speakers for their time and dedication based on the number of tickets they sell Ask us for details!
  • This Call for Papers will close on December 30, 2020 and we select and notify speakers by January 5, 2021.
  • The sessions will be prerecorded and speakers will commit to being available for comments during the live streaming and for up to an hour after for Q&A and networking.
  • Note that we will make all talks available for access pass holders for up to 6 months after the summit.
  • We ask for unique content that hasn’t been presented or published elsewhere in the same manner.
